Thankful for…

What am I thankful for?

It is someone I adore,

not a dog, not a cat,

She is a person, how about that?

We hang out in the morning by my class

Look out the big windows made of crystal clear glass

Her curly black locks and her happy little smile

She makes me feel happy and that I am worthwhile

We hang out after school outside we will walk

We run, hold hands and constantly talk

When we see each other in the hall we stop and we hug

And make everyone delayed and very well bugged

Her eyes so dark sparkle like obsidian

I love her so much I don’t know where to begin

We are united together

like birds of a feather

Shes the macaroni to my cheese

the honey to my bees

I love my darling very dear

she makes me smile ear to ear

Ode to Louie

O Louie, your fur so soft
golden like a fresh-baked loaf
and round like one too
you wait for me every day to come home from school
you waggle and dance like a graceful pigeon
you howl like a wolf with a soar throat
you waddle around sniffing for food
and end up sneezing for days
you hop, skip and jump around as you please,
and take my snacks, oh yes you do
you are so cute and fluffy
with a snout as black as night
your eyes glisten and glimmer
with your “makeup” done right
you are the best friend I ever had
though you may hate me when I pick you up
you may hate me when I sing
you may hate me when I bathe you
but I am the one who feeds you
please, Louie, try to crack a smile and love me
(though you most likely do)
and Louie moon I hope you do know
that I love you through and through

Sitting on my aunt’s lap playing with the wheel of her new car, it was all fun… until she revs the engine of the car. The noise was shockingly loud enough to make me cry. I was terrified.
“Nana! Aiuto!” I cried They comforted me. I shivered, trying to keep. my thoughts at bay..,. My aunt’s new car was a new mustang in red, the seats and inside were cozy… From then on, I was always scared of that car.
